BIOGRAPHY

I love listening to, playing, and writing music. My passion for music began during car rides to elementary school, where I would listen to all kinds of music, from Van Halen to Frank Sinatra.  Through the years, I’ve explored hundreds of artists to keep myself open-minded, creative, and versatile, both as a player and a listener.

Growing up with three older brothers was a blessing, as their support and encouragement have always been invaluable. They pushed me to improve my craft, even if it sometimes meant kicking me off the kit for being too loud. My parents have always been supportive of my drumming, allowing me to play as loudly as I wanted, for which I am very grateful.

From a young age, I dreamed of attending Berklee College of Music, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have realized that dream. My time at Berklee was transformative, with teachers and peers who pushed me to become a better player and listener. I am deeply thankful to everyone who has helped me along the way and to music itself for being a constant source of joy.

When I attended Berklee College of Music I got the pleasure of working with Dave Dicenso, Jackie Santos, Casey Scheuerell, Blaize Collard, Joe Galeota, Steve Wilkes, and Mark Walker. They pushed me to be better drummer and musician. I cannot thank them enough.

I do studio work as well as live performances, and each setting offers a unique experience. I love both aspects of playing, and the process of creating something great brings me satisfaction. Playing drums fills me with instant joy, and I am filled with gratitude for discovering music and drumming.

My musical influences are diverse. They range from Black Sabbath, Toto,Aerosmith, Louis Cole, and Myron McKinley, Nine Inch Nails, The System, Khruangbin, Black Midi, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Rick James, Gojira, Pantera, Sam Cooke, to Bob Marley and many more.
